Search YouTube Efficiently

While YouTube can certainly be a great source of educational videos to share with your students
it can also be frustrating and time consuming to weed through all of the content to find the
best and most relevant piece for your class.

By using the "Filter" tool you can however refine your YouTube searches for length, date, relevance and other useful parameters.

Here is a short video tutorial  by Richard Byrne on filtering YouTube search results.

Tech Tip - Collect bookmarks & citations automatically

Check out Citable, a helpful Google Chrome extension that simplifies how you research, collect and save information.

Citable automatically collects everything you highlight and saves it into a Google Sheets spreadsheet, along with any additional reference info (like author, URL, and article title) you’d need for a web citation.

Not only is it helpful for saving bookmarks, but you can also export the information to create a bibliography.

Here is a short video tutorial on how to use Citable.
